Mr Webb is a member of the British Association of Surgery for the Knee. He is also an active member of the British Orthopaedic Sports Trauma Association and the British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine. He is an examiner for the Sport and Exercise Medicine Course held at Bath University.

Mr Webb provides the Orthopaedic Knee service for a number of local and regional sports teams including Bristol Rugby Club, Bristol City Football Club, Gloustershire County Cricket Club, Swansea City Football Club.


research interest & publications

Mr Webb continues to conduct and publish research on current Orthopaedic practice. He has published in peer reviewed journals and written chapters for standard Orthoapaedic textbooks.

Mr Webb has published the results of one of the largest series of patients undergoing ACL reconstruction using hamstring tendon grafts. He continues to conduct basic scientific research into new ways of advancing the techniques of ACL reconstruction. His interests also include; tendon healing and repair, cold compression as an adjunct to postoperative painkillers after knee surgery and injuries occurring during rugby. He has presented his findings at local, National and International Orthopaedic Meetings.
